TACI Training Course

The ICS project develops a pilot training course for Informal Caregiver Support Technicians (TACI). The course combines theoretical training with practical experience, helping participants acquire the knowledge and skills needed to support informal caregivers of autistic people.

Multi-resource Caregiver Support KIT

The project will create a free online multi-resource kit for informal caregivers of autistic people. The kit will include accessible information about autism, practical support strategies, useful services, support organisations, and relevant European legislation adapted to each country.

Experimental TACI Support App

As part of the ICS project, an experimental app will be developed to help caregivers request and schedule support from trained TACIs. The app will support the long-term sustainability of the project by connecting caregivers with available support services.

Our Aim

ICS aims to improve the quality of life, rest, breathing time, and self-determination of informal caregivers of autistic people by developing innovative support methodologies, training resources, and accessible digital tools.

Pilot Implementation

The pilot course will be implemented in Portugal, Spain, and Italy, involving up to 12 TACI trainees per country. The results will help evaluate the relevance, quality, and impact of the new support methodology.

Dissemination and Sustainability

ICS will share its results through national seminars, an international webinar, a final video, and open-access resources. These activities aim to support future replication of the methodology across Europe.
