About the ICS Project

The Innovation in Caregiver Support project aims to improve the quality of life, rest, autonomy and self-determination of informal caregivers of autistic people. Through training, practical support resources and digital tools, ICS develops an innovative support methodology that can be used by caregivers, professionals and organisations across Europe.

All ICS project content and materials are carefully designed to provide caregivers with practical guidance, training, and digital tools that can be applied in daily care situations.

The Need

Informal caregivers of autistic people often face daily challenges related to care, emotional pressure, lack of practical guidance and limited access to specialised support. ICS responds to this need by creating a structured and innovative support model focused on real caregiver priorities.

 

The Aim

ICS aims to design and pilot a methodology that supports informal caregivers of autistic people, helping improve their quality of life, breathing time and self-determination. The project also promotes inclusion, person-centred planning and better support services for families and professionals.
